Using the site
MarkdownLab's converters, editor, table generator, and README generator are free to use, with no account, sign-up, or payment required. By using any tool on this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
Provided “as is,” no warranty
This site and every tool on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that any conversion (for example, Markdown to PDF, Word, HTML, or Confluence markup, or the reverse conversions from HTML, Word, Google Docs, Excel, or CSV) will be complete, error-free, or suitable for any specific document, workflow, or legal/compliance requirement. Always review converted output before relying on it, especially for anything you intend to publish, submit, or archive.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarkdownLab and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, content, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, this site or any of its tools — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Because every conversion runs locally in your browser, we have no visibility into your input or output and cannot recover it for you if something goes wrong on your end (a crashed tab, a browser extension interfering with the page, etc.).
Your responsibility for content
You are solely responsible for any content you paste, type, or upload into a tool on this site, and for how you use the resulting output. Don't use these tools to process content you don't have the right to handle, or in a way that violates applicable law.
Third-party libraries
The conversions on this site are built on open-source libraries (Markdown parsing, HTML sanitization, document generation, and more) that run entirely in your browser. See the About page for the full list and their licenses. Those libraries carry their own upstream licenses and disclaimers in addition to these terms.
Advertising
This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense to keep the tools free. Ads and any related tracking are governed by Google's own terms and policies in addition to this site's Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time as the site's tools change. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent through the Contact page.
